San Francisco Video Production Resources

Gorilla Creative is a San Francisco video production company. We own and operate a wide range of camera, lighting, sound, grip, and production support equipment.

Our clients value our ability to respond quickly and provide full-service corporate video production and commercial video production with very short notice. To ensure our resources are always available and ready to serve our clients when they need us, we do not offer “dry” equipment rentals, meaning we do not rent out equipment to other production companies or independent filmmakers.

If you’re looking for studios or equipment rental options, we have compiled this list of trusted resources that we consider “the best in the Bay.”

San Francisco Bay Area Film Commissions

Some video shoots require obtaining a permit from a city's film commission office. Some cities have dedicated departments and teams of people to assist us in ensuring your project goes smoothly, from coordinating with local law enforcement to provide street closures and intermittent traffic control to getting reserved parking for clients, cast, and crew. If your project requires filming in a smaller city without a dedicated film commission department, we’ll check with the local planning board, police department, or city/county offices to ensure we have the authorization needed for your project.
